Privacy choices & deletion
You control your saved cards, selected photos, shared files, and optional Wallet copies.

Delete a saved card
Open the card in Your cards. Choose Delete card and confirm. This removes the card and its saved portrait, restore photo, and logo from the current library. It does not remove copies from recipients, Wallet, older backups, or recovery files.
Remove or restore a photo
Edit the card and remove or replace the portrait, then save. This also removes its saved original restore copy from the current card. Restore original brings back the locally saved original after a cutout; it does not contact a server. Photo picker access is limited to your selection. For any permission granted to the app, review the app’s entry in iOS Settings.
Remove all local app data
Delete the app through iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage (or iPad Storage) → briefly Contact → Delete App. Offload App keeps its documents and is not the same as deletion. This also removes the app’s local recovery copies and temporary exports. We cannot remotely delete a local library because there is no server account for it.
Wallet, shared files, and backups
Remove a Wallet pass separately from Apple Wallet using the pass’s options. Remove exported files from Files and any sharing destinations you used. Contacts saved by other people remain under their control. Manage separate device and iCloud backups in Apple’s settings; an old backup can contain an earlier card.
Accounts, tracking, and consent
There is no briefly Contact account to close and no in-app targeted-advertising or analytics consent to manage. You can keep using the editor without importing a contact, selecting a photo, requesting a Wallet pass, or sharing files. Cancel a system picker or share sheet to leave without completing that action.
Contact us about your information
For support correspondence or information processed by a briefly Contact service, email support@brieflyos.com with the subject “briefly Contact privacy request.” Describe the request and the email address used to contact us. Do not attach your full card library or identity documents. If verification is needed, we will explain the minimum required. Information held by Apple, your backup provider, or a sharing recipient must also be managed with that provider.
